Every man needs to maintain good health. It is one of the glands in the male reproductive system that require protection. It is found adjacent to the bladder and the urethra.

The best way to get a healthy body is through proper diet. A diet that is full of the right cancer fighting nutrients is appropriate. You should also avoid certain chemicals in food, take sugar free foods and reduce fat.

One of the important nutrients that can reduce cancer risk are antioxidants. These can be found in abundance in foods such as tomatoes, berries and water melon. They protect the healthy cells from being attacked by radicals and molecules.

Omega 3 fatty acids are useful in promoting good health. They have anti-inflammatory effects that prevent the growth of tumors. They also lower high blood pressure, lower cholesterol levels and help in the reduction of weight. Sources of omega 3 fatty acids include tuna, sardines, salmon, anchovies, herring and fresh water trout among others.

Nuts contain healthy fats that are also crucial in boosting health. Though they contain a lot of fat, they should be taken with caution. The best nuts to go for include almonds, walnuts and pecans.

Beans are also important foods that help fight cancer. They are a good source of fibre and plant protein and are a great substitute for animal protein. Another food that can help in the fight against cancer is green tea.
